Meet Lindsay Minarovic, LCSW-S
Lindsay Minarovic, LCSW-S, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri in 2009, and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2013. Lindsay began her social work career working as a clinical practitioner in a residential treatment program for individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental illness, and homelessness. In this position, Lindsay discovered her passion for walking alongside clients in their journey of recovery and growth.
Lindsay now has more than 10 years of experience working in non-profits, community mental health, and with people experiencing homelessness in the San Antonio community. Lindsay has experience in crisis intervention, psychotherapy, case management, financial counseling, community outreach, program management, and policy advocacy. Lindsay enjoys mentoring and teaching, and has served as a Field Instructor for Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work Practicum Students for over 10 years. Lindsay received her Clinical Supervisor designation from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council in February of 2024. Lindsay regularly facilitates training on Trauma-Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing to the community.
Lindsay is passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable communities. Lindsay enjoys teaching new social workers as well as providing continuing education for seasoned helping professionals. Lindsay has been described as compassionate, ethical, and a leader who inspires transformation.
Lindsay is intentional about finding a good balance between her professional and personal life. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She focuses on her spirituality and mental health by seeing her own therapist, spending time in nature, hiking, and practicing yoga.
