Lindsay Minarovic, LCSW-S brings over a decade of experience in non-profits, community mental health, and crisis intervention. As Owner and Founder of RiverMind Therapy, Lindsay is committed to providing high-quality supervision, continuing education, and consultation to mental health professionals.
My mission is to support Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) in their journey towards becoming Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs). Through a comprehensive supervisory relationship, I will help you foster professional growth and competence in clinical practice.
Nature of Supervision Relationship
Our supervision process is designed to provide experiential learning opportunities covering various aspects of clinical social work practice, including:
- Conducting the entire clinical process
- Developing culturally competent assessments and diagnoses
- Treatment planning and intervention strategies
- Discharge planning and referrals
- Compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
- Therapeutic skill development
- Regular feedback and evaluation
Supervision Structure
- Supervision Sessions: 2-hour sessions, twice monthly, totaling 100 hours over 24 months.
- Sessions can be in-person or via virtual platforms like Zoom.
- Available in individual or group formats.
Responsibilities
Supervisee
- Maintain documentation of supervision goals, client cases, clinical hours, and session notes.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor on areas for professional growth.
- Prioritize building a trusting rapport with the Supervisor.
Supervisor
- Provide honest feedback and clear expectations for supervisee development.
- Address cultural considerations and ethical issues in supervision.
- Offer support and resources for professional and personal growth.
- Provide case consultation.
